The construction of KU’s administration building took 14 years from the drawing board in 1909 to completion in 1923. The classical revival-style building is named for sixth chancellor Frank Strong. Although most of its rooms are offices, Strong contains classrooms and an auditorium. The hall in listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
