Smith Hall

Religious studies have been taught on this site since 1901, when a converted farmhouse was used; in 1907 Myers Hall was built, holding classrooms, a social center and auditorium. It was razed in 1966, and the current building opened in 1967, named for principal donor Irma I. Smith. The large statue of Moses, by Elden C. Tefft, faces the stained-glass window “Burning Bush”; both are images from the University Seal.
